My expertise lies in guiding individuals towards discovering wholeness, meaning, and purpose in life. My clients, often multicultural, creative, bright, driven, and high-achieving, trust me to navigate their emotional challenges at a profound level. Together, we embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery.

My personal journey of self-exploration and therapy sparked a profound desire to assist others in discovering meaning. As a lifelong seeker, curiosity has been my guiding force. Through diverse career paths, I embraced personal growth, realizing my passion to support others in their pursuit of a meaningful and fulfilling life.

3. Tell us the story of a patient who you are most proud of helping.

A patient approached me with chronic health issues and long-standing anxiety, stemming from childhood trauma. During our collaborative efforts, she achieved remarkable progress. Her reliance on medication decreased, physical health improved, and healthy boundaries were established with family. Moreover, she found a fulfilling romantic relationship and meaningful work. The patient's unwavering dedication to her growth played a pivotal role in propelling her towards a happier and healthier life.

4. What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a practitioner in private practice?

Navigating private practice can be isolating professionally. To combat this, I prioritize cultivating meaningful professional relationships, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Regular clinical consultations and a commitment to continuous professional learning empower me to deliver the utmost quality in my work with clients, ensuring I bring my best self to each therapeutic encounter.

5. What are the top 3 tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a private practice today?\

The top 3 things I would suggest to someone would be:


  1. If you're not in therapy, I strongly encourage you to consider it. Engaging in this work may surface personal challenges and unexamined blind spots.
  2. Having your own support system is crucial in this field. Additionally, seek out top-notch continuing education and supervision aligned with your values and perspectives.
  3. Lastly, remember to have a hobby – while rewarding, this work can be emotionally taxing. Regularly incorporating sources of joy in life is essential for self-care and well-being.
