1. What's your practice focus and what kind of clients knock on your door ?
I help and guide my clients to resolve difficult issues in their lives, utilizing hypnosis and NLP - anxiety, fears and phobias, depression and hopelessness, smoking, alcohol and other addictions, weight loss, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, performance, and more.
2. Tell us about yourself.
Hypnosis is a third career for me: years ago I was a mathematics professor and then I was a software developer. I discovered hypnosis through a personal experience which led me to resolve a habit that I had been unable to stop for over 50 years. I love seeing my clients resolve the issues that had been keeping them stuck and being able to live the lives they long for.
3. Tell us the story of a patient who you are most proud of helping.
I worked with a very anxious woman who believed she was being stalked by mysterious people who would hide and make bird sounds. After several sessions she was able to sit on her deck, relax, and enjoy herself, free from that awful obsession.
4. What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a practitioner in private practice?
