1. What's your practice focus and what kind of clients knock on your door ?
My mission is to create a safe and inclusive space where you can heal, grow, and thrive. I believe that every woman deserves mental health support that is affirming, validating and respectful of her experiences and cultural identity.
2. Tell us about yourself.
I have been working in the mental health field for ten years. I decided to further my skills to grow. I became licensed and then learned how to build my private practice in December 2022. There is nothing more exciting than walking into my purpose. I enjoy working with my clients, seeing the progression within them, and the smiles on their faces because they make a difference
3. Tell us the story of a patient who you are most proud of helping.
I had a female patient who I work with for six months that made a tremendous change. She was dealing with some internalize anger and some other diagnoses. I assisted her , processed, validated and supported her. We met weekly. She started learning how to be healed. She thanked me tremendously and cried on how much growth she made. She said "I changed her life and no one else ever took the time to notice not even herself." She proceeded to cry with tears of joy.
4. What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a practitioner in private practice?
Just maintaining the logistics of it.
