1. What's your practice focus and what kind of clients knock on your door ?
My clients appreciate a soul-centered approach to their well-being. Many are often spiritually curious and have a creative spark. Despite trying different therapies, they're still seeking that missing piece. They're eager to embark on a journey of self-discovery, understanding that their body holds the key to their liberation. Together, we dive into the expansive landscapes of the heart, harness the life force within each breath, and listen closely to the gentle wisdom of intuition.
2. Tell us about yourself.
As a first-generation Latina, my young feelings for belonging were expressed through my creativity. This creativity led to my first career as a singer-songwriter. Although I found joy here, an inner void lingered. Seeking answers, I pursued personal therapy, igniting a passion to become an LCSW, The path I now walk was profoundly influenced by my fertility journey, and miscarriage, which awakened me to connect to my body and propelled me towards training in somatic experiencing and breathwork.
3. Tell us the story of a patient who you are most proud of helping.
It's hard for me to choose just one person that I feel most proud of assisting. Every day, the work that I do feels like a mutually beneficial exchange. I consider it an honor to meet incredible people who inspire me and bring joy to my life. I take pride in our collaborations that lead to discovering new ideas, creating magical moments, and opening up infinite possibilities. This is what I am most proud of.
4. What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a practitioner in private practice?
I don't consider anything I do to be difficult. The concept of "hard" is a self-imposed limitation that restricts our potential. Instead, I aspire to have more space and resources to collaborate with others and enhance creativity. While being a fully virtual practitioner has its advantages, I also acknowledge the importance of being physically present with clients at times. Consequently, I aim to create more opportunities for in-person meetings in the near future.
