1. What's your practice focus and what kind of clients knock on your door ?

My practice focuses on finding the root cause of someone's symptoms using functional medicine. I see everything from gut issues, to hormones, and autoimmune. My favorite are my "Unicorn" patients. They have seen multiple doctors and tried everything under the sun and still have symptoms. They come in with just enough hope that we can help and its so rewarding when we get them feeling better, sometimes after only a few weeks!

2. Tell us about yourself.

I was once the Unicorn patient! I had brain fog, I couldn't lose weight, gut issues, low energy and muscle/joint pain. I went in for all the testing and the doctors would tell me everything was "normal." I was so frustrated and honestly thought if my life continued in this way, I wouldn't be living long, let alone be able to be present with my children.
I went through a functional medicine program with comprehensive labs, supplements and coaching and within 6 weeks, ALL of my symptoms reversed!

3. Tell us the story of a patient who you are most proud of helping.

I have several patients who have had wonderful outcomes using Functional Medicine. I had one who we have successfully weaned off 3 blood pressure medications, and changed his entire gut health around, he has lost weight and is now balanced and healthy. I have one which we have taken off her cholesterol medications and changed her entire life's disposition.

4. What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a practitioner in private practice?

Spreading the word about functional medicine is the hardest in private practice. In Colorado, functional medicine is gaining traction and I see more and more people seeking a better way to reverse and prevent illness. My goal is to help change the medical paradigm. Americans have become more sick than ever. Things have to change. Posting to social media can plant seeds, but hearing a testimony and seeing someone thriving is the golden ticket for getting others on the same path!

5. What are the top 3 tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a private practice today?\

The top 3 tips I would give to anyone looking to start, run, and grow a private practice today would be :

  1. Find your Why, you will come back to that often when business dips or challenges arise.
  2. Invest in a coach that has experience in your field of focus to guide you and save you from making too many costly mistakes.
  3. Just DO IT. Take the Risk. You are more powerful than you can imagine!

6. Where can people find you?
