1. What's your practice focus and what kind of clients knock on your door ?
I primarily work with high-performing career driven women and dedicated supermoms. These are women I 100% resonate with, as I am both. They are looking to simplify health and to learn strategies to make this their ultimate lifestyle, not only for themselves, but for their family. I focus on foundational health, with a huge emphasis on mindset, nutrition and nervous system regulation. These women seek education, encouragement and empowerment to feel confident in their health decisions.
2. Tell us about yourself.
I have always had a deep passion for health and wellness and I have never relied on medications to treat symptoms. The driving force for me was seeing the gaps in our healthcare system from working as an RN, as an NP, and seeing close friends/family get sick. Once I became a mother, it truly hit me how important and essential holistic medicine is. I want to set an example for my daughter. Women deserve to know the root cause(s) of their symptoms and I know God led me down this path for a reason.
3. Tell us the story of a patient who you are most proud of helping.
One patient I am incredibly proud of helping is a mom as well. She was struggling for years to lose weight and had debilitating migraines, even with working out daily and a nutritionist on board. I share her powerful story often. She came to me and we uncovered her root causes, worked on the foundations, learned that her body needed to slow down and she ended up losing 18 lbs and is migraine-free. What is even MORE amazing is that her psoriasis (not at the forefront of her mind) cleared by 98%!
4. What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a practitioner in private practice?
One of the hardest things that comes with being a practitioner in private practice is that initially you wear all of the hats and that can be challenging. I always find joy in the "doing", though, because this is truly my passion to help! It never feels like work.
