1. What's your practice focus and what kind of clients knock on your door ?
Serving clients from cradle to grave, we are typically engaged by teens to middle-aged offering the expertise of certified life coaches, functional medicine consultation, and mentoring to journey with people to be free from the physical, emotional, and spiritual captivity that keeps them from experiencing the wholeness of life you were designed to experience. Our team exists to meet you on your journey to become healthy and whole as we bring simplicity to the complex world of wellness.
2. Tell us about yourself.
We have experiences captivity and freedom in our health - body, mind, and spirit. Having received the benefits of finally being seen, heard, and supported in our own journeys toward healing, we desire to help others eliminate barriers to physical, emotional, and spiritual whole health by making life coaching, functional medicine, and mentoring available to all.
3. Tell us the story of a patient who you are most proud of helping.
Sheer desperation brought R.T. to us. Having suffered through repeated infections and antibiotic use, she was driven to get better. Nothing was helping and no-one knew the "why". Her body was betraying her; she struggled to remain hopeful. Well, in her own words, "I truly believe I wouldn't be here today without the consistency, real-world -reasonable protocols, and knowing I wasn't alone in this!" Through functional med principles, coaching, and mentoring, R.T. is learning to thrive again.
4. What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a practitioner in private practice?
There are two things that rise to the top of the list of frustrations in private practice that is not considered "traditional":
1) Affordability. Insurance does not cover services. Our solution: we are a non-profit & work with donors to support costs.
2) Availability. There are so many needs by so many people and not enough providers to meet those needs. Our solution: we offer community and group gatherings to touch as many lives as we can.
