1. What's your practice focus and what kind of clients knock on your door ?
My practice revolves around functional medicine (root cause medicine) and home birth midwifery care. I have a wide range of clients that reach out to me for assistance with their health. Infertility is the issue I see the most. In addition, I see autoimmune disease, tick borne illness such as Lyme disease, obesity, and mood disorders. Of course I always have pregnant women who desire home birth reaching out for care as well.
2. Tell us about yourself.
I started out as a family nurse practitioner who truly believed in conventional medicine and actually thought other kinds of care were pointless. It wasn't until I dealt with my own healthcare crisis that I saw the power of functional medicine. This led me to starting my own practice and getting further education with IFM. These women are the most grateful clients I have ever experienced. It is also a pleasure to help clients that are on numerous medications for autoimmune disease and see them feel better while eliminating their medications.

Second, I really struggle with administrative tasks and social media advertising. Most of my clients come to me by word of mouth. Finally, it is hard to watch patients fail in their effort to transform.
