1. What's your practice focus and what kind of clients knock on your door ?

I treat all functional medicine issues but recently my practice has evolved around focusing on autoimmune issues with root causes of CIRS, mold exposure and lyme and co-infections. Most patients have no hope when they walk through my door. It brings special joy to restore their faith in which hope returns so they can truly find wellness.

2. Tell us about yourself.

For me personally, it started long ago with my own personal health journey as a teen in which functional medicine saved me. My son had his own issues at age 4 in which pushed me to look for root causes. At that time, I started my journey with IFM. I was motivated to start my own practice which is my ministry to others. Everyday I'm motivated to help show them that they are heard and have hope.

3. Tell us the story of a patient who you are most proud of helping.

I'm excited about many patients that improve but one in particular was a Fibromyalgia patient that had severe ILO. She couldn't leave her home due to smells triggering her ILO to where she couldn't breathe. We worked on several areas on her health. I'm so proud to say in 3 months she was able to walk around smells and started working again. She is now a Fibromyalgia coach helping others get well. Talk about full circle!

4. What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a practitioner in private practice?

The hardest thing that comes with being a practitioner is trying to manage everything that includes time.  You have to make time for yourself, family and friends not just your business which is easy to do.

5. What are the top 3 tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a private practice today?\

The top 3 tips I would give to anyone looking to start, run, and grow a private practice today would be :

  1. First, conquer your fears about starting a business and go live your dream. Most people ask but what if I fail? Even if you do fail, at least you can say you tried and have no regrets.
  2. Second, Make sure to properly plan. Whether it is looking at EHR, malpractice insurance or new testing, make sure to get all the information.
  3. Third, word of mouth is the best self advertisement. Focus on the patients you do have not the ones you can get. Just do it!

6. Where can people find you?
