1. What's your practice focus and what kind of clients knock on your door ?
My practice focuses of musculoskeletal health concerns. We see a wide variety of conditions, but typically those that are active and want to remain active. I also specialize in chronic pain and TMD.
2. Tell us about yourself.
My desire to help patients in the beat way I know how. I worked as an associate for many years and "having to do it their way", was not bringing me joy and was not benefitting them, only the owners pocketbooks. I love watching patients transform their lives by reaching their goals. Sometimes its to stand up without assistance, other times it is running a marathon.
3. Tell us the story of a patient who you are most proud of helping.
Working with chronic pain patients and seeing their transformation back to health is so rewarding! Unfortunately, patients that suffer from chronic pain bounce around from provider to provider with no success. We take our time to formulate a plan, based on the best available research, the doctor's experience and the patient's values.
4. What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a practitioner in private practice?
Wearing many hats. You have to be HR, marketing, IT, custodian, and many more.
5. What are the top 3 tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a private practice today?\
The top three tips I would give.
